Portstewart Golf Club

Recently hosting the Dubai Duty free Irish open for golfing enthusiasts can enjoy the magnificent Portstewart Golf Club is located just a 3 minute drive away and offering visitors the challenge with a choice of three 18 hole golf courses including the famous and highly regarded Strand Course. Golfers of all abilities will find a course to suits their abilities and skill levels.

Downhill Beach

Downhill Beach is an 11km stretch of sand and surf offering a variety of activities including water sports, scenic walks and facilities for that perfect family day out. The beach in 2012, has had been the prestigious blue – flag award, recognised throughout Europe

Mussenden Temple 

Located just 12 miles from Portstewart guests will encounter one of the most photographed areas in Northern Ireland, Mussenden Temple sits dramatically on a 120 ft cliff top, high above the Atlantic Ocean on the north-western coast of Northern Ireland, offering spectacular views westwards over Downhill beach, over Magilligan Point and County Donegal and to the east Castlerock beach towards Portstewart, Portrush and Fair Head you will be sure to catch a beautiful picturesque moment

Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge

One of Northern Irelands best loved attractions is Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge. Just a 35 minute car journey from the hotel this attraction offers an exhilarating experience for all those who dare to cross it. Traditionally fishermen erected the bridge to Carrick-a-Rede Island over a 23m-deep and 20m-wide chasm to check their salmon nets. Today visitors are drawn here simply to take the rope bridge challenge!

Portstewart Strand

Some people call it a beach but here at Portstewart we call it Portstewart strand. The beautiful golden sand stretches for 2 miles (3.2km) and is perfect for creating those extraordinary sandcastles. Make the most of any sunny season and make your way to portstewart strand. From wintery walks to summer sandcastle competitions there is something everyone in the family to enjoy whatever the weather.

Old Bushmills Distillery

The famous Bushmills Irish Whiskey is made at Ireland’s oldest working distillery in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The brand portfolio includes five award-winning whiskeys: Bushmills, Black Bush, Bushmills 10 year Malt, 16 year Malt and 21 year Malt. Bushmills is the only distillery in Ireland to make triple-distilled malt whiskey. Just a few towns over you will find this unique experience a short 25 minute drive away.

Dunluce Castle

Located on the Causeway coastal route between Portrush and Bushmills and just 7 miles from Portstewart Dunluce Castle  is one of a series of fortifications built on rocky outcrops extending into the sea. Many believe it to be among the most picturesque and romantic Irish Castles. A defended site from at least 500AD, the present castle ruins date mainly from the 16th & 17th Century. 

The Giants Causeway

Just a 30 minute drive from Me & Mrs Jones you will find Northern Ireland’s only UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known for its polygonal columns of layered basalt resulting from a volcanic eruption 60 million years ago, this is the focal point of a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has attracted visitors for centuries. It harbors a wealth of local and natural history. Enjoy a stroll around the site and visitors centre, or dare to take the new and exciting cliff top experience walk.

Whiterocks Beach Portrush

Whiterocks Beach attracts water sports enthusiasts, and is excellent beach for surfers and body boarders. The limestone cliffs of the White Rocks stretch from Curran Strand to Dunluce Castle. These soft, sedimentary rocks have been carved through centuries into a labyrinth of caves and arches. Again the perfect opportunity for fun for all the family.
